The things that have an impact on first impressions: 70% of employers claim they don’t want applicants to be overly fashionable or trendy. 65% of hiring managers say clothes can be the deciding factor between 2 similar candidates. And don’t wear jewelery to give a hint that you are wealthy. Be prudent in your dressing.

About 1/3 have a bad posture and fidget too much. 26% have a weak handshake. 26% play with their hair or touch their face. 9% use too many hand gestures.

Anyway, back to the infographic, one of the common non-verbal mistakes make during job interview is failing to make eye contact and knowing little about the company.
