Opportunities to Make Money Online March 12, 2014 bizadmin I am pleased that there are several opportunities to make money online, albeit a little low. The tasks come now and then and you have to work hard. There is no free lunch on this planet earth, unless you are married to a millionaire! Or born with a silver spoon in your mouth, of which most of us are Not! Hence, with education and some hard work, we can make it by acquiring relevant knowledge and skills to arm ourselves with more opportunities online like writing gigs, blogging, image editing and more. We also have to keep our blogs fresh with new content to leverage on earning an income and make the internet our cash cow.
Going to Hatyai January 18, 2014 bizadmin After my recent trip to Europe, I shall be going to Hatyai by bus during Chinese New Year with mum and youngest sis. We shall be staying for 3 days and 2 nights, departing at 5:30am in the morning when the chartered van comes to pick us up from our house. I plan to get some cosmetics and maybe some bras. As usual, we don’t miss our foot massage at a place near the hotel. I hope and pray that Hatyai will be safe from the chaos in Bangkok to overthrow the government of Ying Luck. Chinese New Year is a time I stay with my family at their house since my spouse will be away for a couple of days. I just hope he gets back soon and continue the normal routine as always.
Going to Europe Tonight December 17, 2013 bizadmin Tonight, the plane will depart to KLIA from Penang at 9:45pm before the long haul direct flight to Heathrow Airport in London, arriving tomorrow morning. I will spend about 11 hours on board the flight and spend Christmas during winter in Vatican City, Rome, Italy. I have sponsored my 2 younger sisters for this long-awaited trip to Europe since 2007. I shall be visiting 7 countries – United Kingdom, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and France. Just pray that my big luggage with food and clothing will arrive safely and not pilfered at the airport by coveting staff. Also pray that I will eventually return to Penang safely with all my items intact. This trip easily costs me $20k for the 3 of us, not including extra expenses for food and tips, souvenirs, etc.
Just Came Back from KL November 23, 2013 bizadmin I just came back from Kuala Lumpur last night after spending 2 days there for business. For the record, I just paid the first installment to Trafford for my book to be published sometime between January and February next year where I will be given 10 complimentary copies. Trafford is a print on demand service and they don’t print your books to be stocked up in bookshelves of the stores. My book will be listed on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Today is a weekend, I would love to slumber for long hours under my pure silk duvet. Life is good and abundant for everyone. Too tired to go to Langkawi, so we decided to skip this trip and stay at home lazing around.
Locksmith Indianapolis October 17, 2013 bizadmin I just came back from lunch outside and had extra soup for take-away. Now it is back to work again in a home office. Today, I got paid into my Paypal for USD 25 for some blogging work done 2 days ago. This is quite a lucrative venture for me, by comparison. I have spent lots of time updating this blog which has been ignored for a long time and am now trying to revive it with more blog posts. In the meantime, you can check out locksmith Indianapolis, by clicking on the link given to find out more information. It might be useful to note their contact details for future use, in case of situations that require their service. In this day and age of technology, things move on very quickly.
Survival of the Small Businesses September 1, 2013 bizadmin Small businesses don’t have the financial clout as compared to multi-national corporations or the big factories. It is all the more pertinent that they get constant jobs in order to survive and prosper in this red ocean world where competition is stiff. Therefore, it is recommended that they get a well known web designing company to set up the website for them that is indexed by Google search engine for prospects. You cannot just ignore this particular area of your advertisement and marketing which is the lifeblood of your business. Therefore small businesses need to plan and navigate their goals, mission statement and company policies to their staff clearly right from the start of employment so that the employees become an asset instead of a liability such as working the least hours, coming late, doing very little and getting paid at the end of the month with hardly any productive results. Well indexed websites will be searchable by key words typed in by potential clients looking for a particular service or product. The internet can be a very powerful tool in this area. Done right and you will prosper; done incorrectly and you have not clients nor sales. Nobody knows about your business or your existence.
Marketing is the Lifeblood of your Business November 23, 2012 bizadmin For any business to survive, you need to do some form of marketing or advertisement to spread the word around. For instance, in online marketing, your new web site will not be noticed if you don’t do any promotion to spread the word around about your products and services. You need to invest some money into advertisement and marketing so that you can get traffic which could potentially turn into clients for you. When people come and visit, they could be interested in what you have to offer and thus buy on the spot from your web site. You can sell info products or tangible items with a shopping cart installed, with safe and secure payment gateway. Marketing will catalyse and propel your business to greater heights of success and visibility. The word will be spread fast like wild fire on the world wide web if you own a web site selling products like tangible items or even info products such as reports, ebooks and such. You need to spend one third of your investment in developing the web site, one third in maintaining the web site and the final one third in marketing and promotion. This is how you should allocate your resources equally, as a benchmark. Even in my business, I do postage marketing extensively. Each postage of a calendar and marketing letter with 80 cents stamps attached cost about $1.50. But the returns are much higher should we be successful in clinching a project which costs tens of thousands or somewhere in that region. So, it does not take rocket scientists to figure this out that marketing is key to the success of your business – be it online or offline.
Contemplating a Franchise Business November 17, 2012 bizadmin Some months back, I was contemplating a sandwich franchise business in Malaysia. The renovation cost comes to about $400,000.00 and this does not include the kitchen ovens, tools and utensils. Moreover, you have to pay 10% franchisee fees for every meal bought by patrons. Although it is the world’s biggest food franchisor in the world due to its low start up capital at $45,000.00, we decided to shelve the idea because too much is at stake. We have the finances, but not the time to dedicate this business full time and concentrate on it 100%. It is like a marriage. You need to put in 100% effort and commitment to see it through to success. As we are currently in the sports business, we cannot allocate more of our commitment and concentration to be diluted to the food franchise business. The issue is that we cannot be everywhere attending to different businesses. It is not good to be Jack of all trades but master of none. If we commit to a business, say sports, then we need to have targeted laser concentration on the said business. Don’t try to do everything and branch into different types of businesses where you cannot possibly concentrate fully. This sandwich franchise business is sprouting everywhere all over the country. It is a very popular brand and easy to clean up, since no cutleries are required, other than paper wrappings that can be thrown away easily. Hence, cleaning up after a meal is easy peasy – as opposed to dining in Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets where the bones, skin and what not have to be removed and table wiped clean.
