Aladdin Musical 2019 Movie

During a voyage, a mariner tells the story of Aladdin, Jasmine, Princess of Agrabah, and the magic lamp to his two children. Aladdin, a young street urchin, living in the desert kingdom of Agrabah along with his pet monkey Abu, rescue and befriend Princess Jasmine of Agrabah, who is upset that the law requires her to marry a prince instead of the one she loves.

Meanwhile, Jafar, a Royal Vizier, grows tired of being “second best.” He and his parrot Iago thus seek a magic lamp hidden within the Cave of Wonders to become Sultan. Both are told that only one person is worthy to enter: “the diamond in the rough,” whom Jafar later identifies as Aladdin. Later, Aladdin returns a bracelet belonging to Jasmine’s mother and the palace guards capture Aladdin on Jafar’s orders.

Jafar frees Aladdin and Abu, and after telling Aladdin that he can make him rich enough to impress Jasmine, has him retrieve the lamp. Inside the cave, Aladdin finds a magic carpet and obtains the lamp. Defying Aladdin’s instruction to touch nothing but the lamp, Abu grabs a ruby. Aladdin, Abu, and the carpet rush to escape the cave as it collapses. Aladdin gives the lamp to Jafar, who throws both Aladdin and Abu back into the cave, though not before Abu steals the lamp back.

Trapped, Aladdin rubs the lamp and meets the Genie who lives inside it. The Genie grants Aladdin three wishes. Aladdin tricks the Genie into freeing them all from the cave without using a wish and then uses his first wish to assume the identity of a prince to woo Jasmine and promises to use his third wish to free the Genie from servitude. Back in Agrabah, Aladdin, as “Prince Ali of Ababwa,” arrives with a large host, but Jasmine is unimpressed.

Later, Aladdin takes Jasmine on a ride on the magic carpet while the Genie goes out with her handmaiden, Dalia. When she deduces his true identity, Aladdin convinces Jasmine that he only dresses as a peasant to escape the stresses of royal life. However, Jafar discovers Aladdin’s true identity and threatens him to reveal where he had put the lamp. Aladdin refuses, and Jafar throws him out of the tower into the sea. Abu and the carpet arrive with the lamp, and Aladdin rubs it before drowning.

Genie rescues Aladdin, and after speaking with Jasmine, they help expose Jafar’s evil plot, and the Sultan has Jafar arrested. After being offered the position as heir to the Sultan, Aladdin, fearing that he will lose Jasmine if the truth is revealed, reluctantly breaks his promise and refuses to free the Genie, upsetting him.

Meanwhile, Iago steals the dungeon keys and frees Jafar, who steals the lamp from Aladdin with his street smarts and becomes the Genie’s new master. Jafar uses his first two wishes to become Sultan and the world’s most powerful sorcerer, then exiles Aladdin and Abu to a frozen wasteland and threatens to kill Dalia and the Sultan unless Jasmine agrees to marry him. However, the Genie has the carpet retrieve Aladdin.

As they proceed with the wedding ceremony, Aladdin returns to the palace, and Jasmine tries to help him steal the lamp back, but Jafar notices it. After a brief chase, Iago, becoming a large bird from Jafar’s sorcery, takes the lamp once more, but then loses it when the Sultan interrupts Jafar’s sorcery. Using his magic, Jafar overpowers the heroes, destroying the carpet in the process. However, Aladdin taunts Jafar for being “second best” to the Genie, tricking him into using his last wish to become an all-powerful genie himself. Now bound to his new lamp, Jafar ends up trapped inside it, taking Iago with him.

With Agrabah returned to normal, the Genie banishes Jafar’s lamp to the desert and restores the carpet and everything back to normal. He advises Aladdin to use his third wish to regain his royal title, so the law will allow him to stay with Jasmine or to use the request to erase the part of the law that obliges a princess to marry a prince. Instead, Aladdin decides to keep his promise and free the Genie.

The Sultan declares that Jasmine will be the next ruler, not whoever her future husband will be, and, realizing Aladdin and Jasmine’s love, he tells her she may change the law to allow her to marry whom she chooses. It was revealed in the end that the mariner is really the Genie who leaves to explore the world with Dalia who is now his wife and raises two children while Aladdin and Jasmine get married and start their new life together.

Pokemon: Detective Pikachu, 2019 Movie

In the Pokémon universe, Tim Goodman is a 21-year-old insurance salesman who had given up Pokémon training due to the death of his mother and the absence of his father, Harry. While hanging out with his friend Jack, Tim learns that Harry has died in a car crash while investigating a case.

He travels to Ryme City, a metropolis that outlaws Pokémon fighting and pushes the bonds of humans and Pokémon alike, to collect Harry’s assets. Tim also meets Lucy Stevens, a fluff columnist who wants to be a reporter and is suspicious of Harry’s death, and her Psyduck. While reminiscing in his apartment, Tim encounters a deerstalker-clad Pikachu that can speak and only he can somehow understand. They are attacked by a party of Aipom under the influence of a purple gas that Tim accidentally released, but they both escape.

They take shelter at a café where Pikachu reveals that he is an amnesiac detective who was Harry’s police partner and that they were investigating a case together when Harry disappeared; the only clue to Pikachu’s identity and Harry’s whereabouts being the deerstalker hat labelled with Harry’s name. They look for Lucy, who reveals that while investigating she discovered that Harry was once at Ryme Wharf, and set out to find clues.

Tim and Pikachu interrogate a Mr Mime who directs them to an illegal underground fighting arena owned by Sebastian, whose Charizard was fought before by Pikachu. Sebastian demands a rematch, but Pikachu cannot remember his own moves and Sebastian gives Charizard the same mysterious gas labeled “R”. While Tim attempts to save Pikachu, Sebastian accidentally releases R, causing the entire stadium to get affected alerting the authorities, but not before revealing to Tim that he got R from “the doctor.”

Tim argues with police lieutenant Hideo Yoshida that Harry may be alive, but Yoshida shows him the video of Harry’s crash, explaining that it would have been impossible. Soon, Tim and Pikachu are met by Ms. Norman who takes them to see Ryme City’s benefactor Howard Clifford, who had once tried to cure his ailing condition and instead created the humanitarian city. He shows him more revealing footage of Harry surviving the attack, apparently caused by the recently escaped Mewtwo, but that he was taken away by the Pokémon, leaving Pikachu with amnesia. Howard tells them to watch out for his son, Roger, who he claims is in control of his company and the city. With this new information, Tim and Pikachu recruit Lucy and Psyduck.

The group breaks into the lab facility Harry was investigating and learn that Dr. Ann Laurent, the doctor Sebastian mentioned, was experimenting on Mewtwo, who had been recaptured after escaping 20 years earlier, and had apparently hired Harry to aid them. They are soon attacked by several Greninja who chase them out of the building, but are fended off by Psyduck. They then escape a field of colossal Torterra, but Pikachu is gravely injured. Tim manages to communicate to a Bulbasaur and takes Pikachu to a clearing in the forest where they are greeted by Mewtwo, who heals Pikachu. Mewtwo attempts to reveal its intent, but was captured by Roger. Thinking that he betrayed Harry to a vengeful Mewtwo, Pikachu leaves Tim while the others return to Ryme City to warn Howard.

Pikachu comes across the area where Harry crashed his car and finds proof that it was not Mewtwo who attacked, but the Greninja. Tim reaches Howard, but learns too late that he intends to transfer his consciousnesses into Mewtwo and use R so that the Pokémon can become docile enough for him to fuse them with their owners, thus allowing humans to evolve within their Pokémon. As Howard in Mewtwo’s body releases the gas into the world, Pikachu arrives and finally summons his electricity powers to battle Mewtwo. Meanwhile, Tim finds out that “Roger”, and in-turn Ms. Norman, was really a shape-shifting Ditto who was modified to transform into humans, with the real Roger having been tied up and hidden. Tim subdues Ditto with R while Pikachu fends off Mewtwo long enough for Tim to free Mewtwo from Howard’s control.

Mewtwo restores everyone to normal while Howard is arrested by the police. Roger is impressed with Lucy and hires her as a full-time reporter. Mewtwo then reveals that Harry was in fact fused with Pikachu in order to heal him. The fuse erased Harry’s memory while keeping his consciousness within Pikachu. After Mewtwo unfuses them with the help of Tim, a fully revived Harry offers Tim the chance to return home, but Tim decides to stay in order to learn how to become a detective and spend time with him and Pikachu.

Avengers 4: Endgame

Three weeks after Thanos used the Infinity Stones to disintegrate half of all life across the universe, Carol Danvers rescues Nebula and Tony Stark from deep space. They return to Earth and join the remaining Avengers—Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Rocket, Thor, and James Rhodes. They find the now-injured Thanos so they can take the Infinity Stones and reverse his actions, but he has already destroyed them to prevent further use. Thor decapitates Thanos.

Five years later, Scott Lang escapes the quantum realm and finds Romanoff and Rogers at the Avengers’ compound. Only five hours have passed for Lang instead of years, and he theorizes that the quantum realm can allow time travel. The three ask Stark to help them retrieve the Infinity Stones from the past so they can revert Thanos’ actions in the present, but he rejects them out of fear of losing his daughter Morgan. Eventually, Stark relents after reflecting upon the disintegrated Peter Parker, and works with Banner—who has merged his intelligence with the Hulk’s strength—to stabilize travel in the quantum realm. Romanoff recruits Clint Barton, now a vigilante following the disintegration of his family, while Banner and Rocket find a drunken, reclusive Thor in Norway.

The reunited Avengers split into several groups. Banner, Rogers, Lang, and Stark travel to New York City in 2012. Banner visits the Sanctum Sanctorum and convinces the Ancient One to give him the Time Stone, promising to return it. Rogers overcomes undercover Hydra agents and his 2012 self to retrieve the Mind Stone, but Lang and Stark’s attempt to steal the Space Stone fails and Loki escapes with it. Rogers and Stark use the last of their size-altering Pym Particles to travel to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters in 1970; they steal an earlier version of the Space Stone there and vials of Pym Particles from Hank Pym so they can return to the present.

Rocket and Thor travel to Asgard in 2013 to retrieve the Reality Stone from Jane Foster, and Thor obtains his hammer, Mjolnir. Barton and Romanoff travel to Vormir in 2014 and learn from the Soul Stone’s keeper, the Red Skull, that it can only be acquired by sacrificing someone they love. They briefly fight over which of them should die, before Romanoff sacrifices herself. On Morag in the same year, Nebula and Rhodes steal the Power Stone before Peter Quill can.[N 5] Rhodes returns to the present with the Power Stone, but Nebula is unable to after her cybernetic implants interface with those of her 2014 self. Through this connection, the Thanos of that time learns of present-day events and sends the 2014 Nebula to the present.

With all the Infinity Stones collected in the present, Banner uses them to restore everyone that Thanos disintegrated. The 2014 Nebula uses the time machine to transport Thanos and his ship to the present day, and he attacks the Avengers’ compound. Rogers, Thor, and Stark confront Thanos, and Rogers proves worthy to wield Mjolnir. However, Thanos overpowers them and summons his army to lay siege to Earth. Present-day Nebula convinces the 2014 version of her sister Gamora to turn on Thanos, and kills the 2014 version of herself. Now restored, Stephen Strange arrives with his fellow sorcerers, the other restored Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the armies of Asgard, Wakanda, and the Ravagers. They fight Thanos’ army, and are eventually joined by Danvers. They attempt to return the Infinity Stones to the past, but Thanos retrieves them and plans to rebuild the universe with life that does not remember his actions. Stark steals the Stones back and disintegrates Thanos and his army. The energy this releases kills Stark.

Following a funeral for Stark, Thor appoints Valkyrie as the queen of New Asgard and joins the Guardians of the Galaxy. Rogers returns the Infinity Stones and Mjolnir to their original places in time before returning to his past to marry Peggy Carter and live out the rest of his life. In the present, an elderly Rogers passes his shield to Sam Wilson.

Fighting with My Family

In 2002, in Norwich, England, UK, 10-year-old Zak Bevis is engrossed by the WWF (now WWE) King of the Ring pay-per-view event until his younger sister Saraya changes the channel to her favorite program, Charmed. The siblings wrestle, urged on by their parents Rick and Julia. Rick books the children for their first wrestling match where Saraya, initially reluctant to wrestle a boy, goes on to win as planned.

At 18, competing under the ring name “Britani Knight”, Saraya and her brother “Zak Zodiac” help their parents train prospective wrestlers while working toward their own promotion. Rick and Julia, struggling financially, ask WWE trainer Hutch Morgan to sign the siblings. He finally agrees to a tryout before a SmackDown taping at The O2 Arena, and tells Saraya to find a different name as they “already have a Britani”. The siblings receive advice from Dwayne Johnson, and Saraya adopts the name Paige from her favorite character on Charmed.

The two try out with several other wrestlers and are all belittled by Morgan. He ultimately chooses Paige over the rest, despite her attempt to have Zak signed as well. With her brother’s encouragement, Paige leaves for America while Zak continues wrestling on the British independent circuit, assisting his parents’ wrestling school, and tending to his girlfriend and newborn son.

Arriving at NXT in Florida, Paige has difficulty adjusting to the WWE style of entertainment – chiefly, the absence of intergender competition and the inexperience of her fellow female trainees Jeri-Lynn, Kirsten, & Maddison. Paige struggles with performing promos and Morgan’s constant belittlement. Morgan makes it clear to Zak that he will never be signed to WWE, and Zak falls into alcoholism. Paige discovers her parents are selling merchandise of her likeness without her permission and have booked her in a match against Zak scheduled for her Christmas break.

At an NXT live event and her in-ring debut, Paige is heckled by the crowd and freezes up, leaving the ring in tears. She decides to bleach her hair blonde and spray tan to look more like her fellow trainees, which only causes more friction between them. After failing an obstacle course, Paige lashes out at the trainees for gossiping about her when they were actually discussing Kirsten, who has been away from her daughter in order to give her a better life.

Morgan tells Paige that her brother’s future in WWE would only have been as enhancement talent and signing would have ruined his life. Morgan encourages Paige to quit and return to her family for a happier life. She travels home for the Christmas break. Just before the match against her brother, Paige tells Zak she is leaving WWE. Angry that she is giving up the dream he failed to achieve himself, Zak goes off-script, defeats Paige and then tells their parents her plans to quit, devastating Ricky. After the family finds Zak in a drunken bar fight, Paige admits that Morgan declined to sign Zak to protect him and he needs to focus on what is important in life; his family and coaching children who look up to him. Paige changes her mind after Zak berates her for giving up on their shared dream and she returns to Florida and her original appearance.

She drastically improves in training, befriending and encouraging her fellow trainees. Zak quits drinking and returns to training his parents’ students. Morgan brings the trainees to WrestleMania XXX, where Paige is booked in a suite with The Rock and learns she will make her Raw debut the following night against WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, as recommended by Morgan. Paige makes her Raw debut and again freezes up, but Lee starts the match and unexpectedly puts the Divas Championship on the line. With her family watching on TV, Paige wins the match and the title, finally comfortable enough to say a promo, “This is MY house!”.

An epilogue explains that Paige remains the youngest Divas Champion and was an early leader in the ongoing Women’s Revolution, that one of Zak’s trainees, who was blind, became a wrestler, and pokes fun at The Rock’s movie career and Rick selling shares in the family business. The closing credits include footage from the family’s 2012 documentary and Paige’s debut match.

Shazam! – 2019 Movie

In 1974 Upstate New York, young Thaddeus Sivana is arguing with his father and brother during a car trip when he is transported to the Rock of Eternity, a magical temple hidden in another dimension. He meets the ancient wizard Shazam, the last of the Council of Seven Wizards, who has spent centuries searching for a new champion who is “pure of heart” after the previous champion went mad, releasing the Seven Deadly Sins upon the world. Thaddeus is tempted by the Sins, entrapped in statues, and is deemed unworthy and banished back to Earth. Upon returning, he makes a scene trying to go back which causes the car to swerve and crash; his father ends up crippled and his older brother blames the incident on him.

In present-day Philadelphia, foster kid Billy Batson runs afoul of the law while searching for his birth mother, and is placed in a group home run by Victor and Rosa Vazquez with five other foster kids; Mary Bromfield, Pedro Peña, Eugene Choi, Darla Dudley and Freddy Freeman, Billy’s roommate and superhero enthusiast. Meanwhile, an adult Sivana, embittered by his rejection as a boy, discovers a way to return to the Rock of Eternity. There, he steals the Eye of Sin, becoming the Sins’ vessel and besting the Wizard before returning to Earth to kill his father and brother.

At school, Billy saves Freddy from bullies and is chased into a subway, where Shazam magically summons Billy, chosen as the new champion. By calling Shazam’s name, Billy is transformed into an adult superhero now endowed with the wizard’s name; thanking Billy, Shazam the Wizard turns to dust, leaving behind his staff. Returning home, Freddy helps Billy explore the extent of his newfound powers: electricity manipulation, invulnerability, super strength, hyper speed, higher intelligence, and flight. Freddy’s videos of Shazam testing his powers become a viral sensation, and Billy begins skipping school to use his powers for money and fame in Shazam form. Seeing Champion Shazam save a bus on the news, Sivana easily defeats him and demands he surrender his powers, but he transforms back into Billy to escape into a crowd. From the news, Sivana deduces Billy’s identity and abducts Freddy to find Billy.

At the Vazquez home, the other children also deduce Billy’s secret and tell him they have found his mother, who lives nearby. Billy meets his mother, learning she abandoned him when she was a single teenage mom. Sivana calls Billy, having taken his foster siblings hostage, and Billy as Shazam agrees to give Sivana his powers to spare his family’s lives. Sivana and Shazam travel to the Rock of Eternity, where Sivana takes the wizard’s staff, but the siblings follow and attack Sivana. Shazam uses the distraction to stun Sivana and realizes that Sivana loses his powers when all Seven Sins leave his body.

Sivana pursues Shazam and his siblings to a winter carnival, unleashing the Sins upon the crowd. As Wrath battles Shazam, the other sins capture his family, demanding his powers. However, when Sivana recalls the sins, Shazam uses the opportunity to take the staff and stuns Sivana. Remembering the Wizard’s words, Billy uses the staff to share his powers, transforming his siblings into adult superheroes like him. Shazam breaks the staff and battles Sivana, whilst his siblings distract the Sins. Shazam baits Envy out of Sivana’s body, leaving Sivana powerless, and takes back the Eye of Sin which recaptures all Seven Sins. Billy and his family are hailed as heroes, and Billy embraces his foster family as his true family. Returning The Eye and the Sins to their prison, Billy and siblings realize the now vacant Rock of Eternity can be their new lair. Later, Billy arrives at school in his Shazam form to have lunch with his siblings, revealing he has invited Superman, much to Freddy’s joy.

In a mid credits scene, the imprisoned Sivana is approached by Mister Mind with a proposal claiming he can give Sivana his powers back. In a post-credits scene, Freddy tests whether Shazam’s champion form has fish telepathy like Aquaman, which Billy dismisses as stupid.

In the chaos, June gets separated from the animals and finds herself in a floating chamber known as Zero-G Land. She convinces him that she will provide the voice for his imagination and that he should not let the Darkness take over him, she gives him an idea to make a slide to escape, and June then notices that the park’s mechanics is her name written in cursive, just like the blueprint piece. With Peanut’s help, they get the mechanics back up and running by using her name to move the gears, and clear up Wonderland from the Darkness. A cloud remains over the park, to which June interprets as a reminder to continue to be imaginative.

June returns home and with it, a cured Mrs. Bailey, and they set up a Wonderland in their backyard. June then shares to other kids the story of Wonderland.

Dumbo – the 2019 Movie

In 1919, Equestrian performer and World War I veteran Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) returns after the war to the Medici Brothers’ Circus, run by Max Medici (Danny DeVito). However, the circus has run into financial troubles and Medici has been forced to sell the circus’s horses, so Medici reassigns Holt as the handler for the circus’s pregnant elephant Jumbo.

Jumbo gives birth to a calf with abnormally large ears and Medici orders Holt to hide the ears before he’ll allow the public to see the calf. However, the calf accidentally reveals his ears in his debut performance. The crowd mockingly names the calf Dumbo and pelts him with peanuts and other objects. Jumbo is distressed by Dumbo’s treatment and rampages into the ring causing extensive damage and accidentally killing a member of the circus staff. Afterwards, Medici sells Jumbo in order to prevent a public relations disaster. Holt’s children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) comfort Dumbo and realize Dumbo can fly by flapping his ears. They also discover that feathers are the key to Dumbo’s willingness to fly.

In another performance, Dumbo plays the role of a firefighter to put out a fire with water sprayed from his trunk. However, the performance goes wrong and Dumbo is trapped on a high platform surrounded by flames. Milly risks her life to deliver a feather to Dumbo, giving him the confidence to fly. The audience is astounded when Dumbo begins to fly, and word of Dumbo begins to spread.

V. A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), the owner of the Dreamland amusement park, approaches Medici and proposes a collaboration. Medici would become Vandevere’s partner and the Medici Brothers’ Circus’s troupe would be employed to perform at Dreamland. Later, Vandevere demands that Dumbo should fly with trapeze artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) on his back. However, their debut performance at Dreamland goes wrong with Dumbo nearly falling off a high platform leading to him trumpeting in alarm. Dumbo hears his mother’s call in response and realizes that his mother is an exhibit elsewhere in Dreamland. Dumbo flies out of the circus ring and reunites with his mother.

Fearing that Dumbo’s mother may become a distraction to Dumbo, Vandevere orders Jumbo to be taken away and killed. He also fires all of the Medici performers from Dreamland. When Holt and the rest of the Medici troupe learn Vandevere intends to kill Jumbo, they resolve to set both Jumbo and Dumbo free. The circus performers utilize their various talents to break Jumbo out of her enclosure while Holt and Colette guide Dumbo to fly out of the circus. Vandevere attempts to stop them, but accidentally starts a fire triggered by mismanagement of Dreamland’s electricity system which spreads and destroys Dreamland.

Holt, Colette, the children, and the troupe bring the elephants to a port where Dumbo and Jumbo board a ship back to their native home. Afterwards, the Medici circus (now named the Medici Family Circus) is re-established and flourishes while Dumbo and Jumbo reunite with a herd of elephants in the jungle.
