To address this shortage, DFA, an acronym for Digital Freelance Agency, hosted free Google Meet and Zoom sessions, a series of weekly training between freelancers and skilled trainers to train these retrenched staff with lessons, coaching, and educational support. Over nine months, DFA searched for ways to support freelancers through the current crisis, get as many as possible back to work and improve the industry as they navigate beyond this moment. After the training, several could find jobs online with the skills gained from the free coaching, sometimes one-to-many or even one-to-one. These newly trained digital freelancers can find gigs, work, and hustle in the comfort of home while wearing their pajamas. With just internet connectivity, freelancers can become productive again. The view from the rooftop of the hotel is so breathtaking. You can see the greenery of Penang Hill with the Kek Lok Si temple on the hillside.
