The Effects of Global Warming July 18, 2019 bizadmin The Effects or Consequences of Global Warming Global warming is likely to be the greatest threat of our century. It is defined as the earth warms up at a steady rate. The reason for this is the increase in human-caused greenhouse gases, the release of carbon monoxide by burning fuels and gasoline in the cars engines, etc. This has led to ecological, health, and humanitarian crises. Global warming has several effects on the oceans. Ongoing effects of global warming include melting of glaciers and ice sheets, thermal expansion causing rising sea levels, and warming of the ocean surface, thus leading to increased temperature. The adverse effects of global warming on human health include human response to heat stress such as heat stroke, hyperthermia, and other harmful effects. Heat illness can affect many organs and systems including liver, heart, brain, heart, etc. Causes of Global Warming The effects of global warming have caused third-world countries to feel the most harmful results. First world countries or developed countries hardly feel the effects of global warming as they can afford to install air-conditioners in their offices, bedrooms, and houses. The rich people are protected by finances that can afford them the luxury of having the room temperature cooled down for more comfort. But we pity the poor countries who have to deal with this effects of global warming that causes heat stroke, fever, tiredness due to the heat in countries located near the Equator and the warm climate nations. As the icebergs melt, sea level rises to cause less land and more waters covering the precious commodity of land making cities more scarce. It can cause floods on beaches and more water comes into the cities making them disappear or become more expensive than ever. That’s why the cost of houses and materials increase dramatically, making many Bottom 40 or B40 people unable to afford a home in a house or condo inside the urban places. So, what is their solution? They build houses on stilts by the seas and pollute the waters through poor sanitation and drainage. When the water rises, due to the melting of the north pole and south pole ice chunks, their stilts homes will be wiped out, leaving them homeless and become vagabonds. This will definitely affect the nation’s economy, well being and livability. As the population increases, more land is required to developed more high rise like condominiums to house these people and their families. Understanding The Effects of Global Warming Understanding the effects of global warming is important because it will affect everything that is pertinent to us, all things about the coming future. Climate change will impact every country on the planet earth. Moreover, the effects of global warming can also impact human health such as the increase of infectious diseases like erythromelalgia. This is a vascular disease that is usually caused by the change in temperature, which leads to syndromes including burning pain, etc. In a nutshell, we, as citizens of this planet earth need to do our part by driving less, consume less electricity and such to reduce the greenhouse effects.
