Sunway Pyramid Tower Hotel is OLD

I stayed at Sunway Pyramid tower hotel 2 days ago for 1 night for RM 440.75 inclusive of 10% and 6% GST charge with breakfast for 2. It was a horrible experience and I regretted staying here compared to the first time which was about 10 years ago. You see, the internal switches and lights are old and badly need replacement. There was buzzing electrical sound coming from the flickering bulb that has intermittent fault. I called the hotel electrician and when he came up, it was functioning well.

However, after he left, it started to flicker again with buzzing sound as it there is going to be some short circuit and I was scared of touching the switches in case of electrocution.

So, we requested to change to another room, which was smaller on the 8th floor compared to our superior executive room. At around 4:30am, a false fire alarm buzzed, waking up the neighbours and it went on for a long time. I could not sleep after that! Had we stayed at our own apartment, it would have been more peaceful without any hiccups or disturbances.

Anyway, this is the LAST time I am staying at Sunway Pyramid tower hotel which badly needs upgrading.

Came Back from Down South

I came back from KL 2 days ago by car and flew in by Firefly from Penang Airport to collect our repaired car that was broken into recently at the paid basement carpark of an apartment in USJ 19. We went to several places; first to collect a cheque and then to 2 places for the day of the potential clients. Some are existing clients and then headed north back home. The management is really terrible and the whole place outside the units were blacked out without a trace of light and it was difficult to get into our units in such stark darkness. They never collected maintenance charge and there were many cobwebs on the 2nd to 4th floor car parks. Blame it to poor management and laziness as collecting maintenance charges are too painful and a hassle for them.

It is Better to be Self Sufficient

When you depend on others to do the programming work for you, you are literally at their mercy and timing. For some, they may take their own sweet time and get it half done after the finish period. If I have some help, I would gladly do it myself and amend the changes for a court booking system. It requires many functions but they can be finished within 3 days and why they take so long is to justify the thousands that you have to dish out to the programmer. But you need to have the logic to trace the programming bugs and all that, so that is why it is expensive and not many people are willing to invest so much money.

Will Sell Stamps Today

I listed my stamps still stuck to envelopes that were cut out as I don’t have time to soak them in water to separate them from the glued paper. I listed them in a website and after 5 minutes, received 2 missed calls from a potential buyer from Butterworth. I then returned the call after some time and found a buyer for my stamps. We will meet at McDonald’s Times Square and I hope he won’t negotiate too much less for them as they are more than 70. It is so easy to sell online by taking a good photo and have them listed via the internet.

On another note, I lose USD 30 due to binary options that I inadvertently signed up after watching a very convincing video. These are all scams, all out to make money out of you and not the other way round. They promise you 50% bonus, but after seeing the money bank into your binary options account, it quickly dissipates into thin air and you are left with your investments only. I have had enough of their shit and hope to close the account immediately.

Just Came Back from KL

I just came back from KL a few days ago and went with my family to Tan Jetty Thai Food eatery by the seaside on a structure constructed on stilts above the waters. Don’t go there too early as it will be low tide and you can see mud everywhere. When it is later at night like 8:00pm, the tide will come in and cover the mud with stinky smell. However, the food there was cheap and recommended by my sister who was there and introduced by her church friend some time back. The trip to KL was fruitful and we clinched a new project in Malaysia. We bought some fruits in Tapah where we stopped for Baskin Robbins ice-cream. I bought a pomelo and 4 mangoes for $26.
