Using Meal Vouchers October 9, 2014 bizadmin I have 3 meal vouchers for every month of the year for 4 different restaurants – namely, Kim Gary, Xuan Xin Chinese Restaurant, Sakae Sushi and Max Gourmet. The meal vouchers are actually free meals offered on each month with different varieties. As such, I am a member for each of these restaurants and paid to become a member since I am a regular patron. By using meal vouchers, it keeps me going back for trying out new free dishes on the menu. And it is only at the upmarket lifestyle mall at Gurney Plaza in Penang. No other place have such vouchers to pull in the crowd as these restaurants are in close proximity to each other under one roof and are competing for diners.
Rain Pelting the Windows October 3, 2014 bizadmin It is now raining moderately for at least 15 minutes already with the rain drops pelting my windows and occasional streaks of lightning with thunderstorms. My modem will not be affected as I am using WiFi. The weather is cold and clammy, perfect for a power nap under my silk comforters from China. It is humid and wet outside with puddles of water dotting the roads. The walkways will be slippery and one should tread with caution while walking slowly to avoid falling down. I am going to check out the times for the upcoming trip to Kuala Terengganu for business with my partner later.
Booked Ming Garden Restaurant for Christmas Eve September 19, 2014 bizadmin Last night, I booked a table for 10 persons at Ming Garden Restaurant, Penang Times Square during Christmas Eve on the 24th December 2014. My second sister who is doing her PhD in South Hampton together with her Caucasian boyfriend, also a PhD candidate will be coming to Penang for a week here for holidays, flying in from KL after having spent a few days there. The table for 10 persons cost $1,288 for an 8-course Chinese meal consisting of 1) Lobster with 2 Combinations 2) Double Boiled Superior Soup with Assorted Seafood 3) Roasted Suckling Piglet with Glutinous Rice 4) Steamed Goby Fish with Soya Sauce 5) Braised Goose Web, Sea Cucumber & Mushroom with Vegetables 6) Fried Assorted Rice with Scallop 7) Double Boiled Snow Jelly with Chinese Herbs in Coconut Shell 8) Twin Happiness The actual number of diners will be exactly 7 persons, but I heard that my sister’s over 6-footer boyfriend is a very good eater, hence he can have double helpings.

The 616 sq. ft apartment is selling at market price for $315,000.00 and I bargained to $290,000.00 selling price. The owner is only 30 years old and is apparently upgrading to a landed property to build his family. I will rent out to my company for $900 per month and the maintenance charges are around $200 per month, which is on the high end due to the convenience of shopping and dining. There is Papa Rich, AEON Big, computer products stall, Cosway pharmacy, amongst its tenants downstairs. There is also a big Chinese restaurant on the second or third level. The LRT is under construction progress and this will fetch even higher price.
Woke up at 10:30am Today August 18, 2014 bizadmin I had a very good night’s sleep and woke up at 10:30am this morning. My spouse was already watching Summer Slam of WWE life which ended at 11:00am. I managed to catch the last most exciting match between John Cena and Brock Lesner, of which the latter won. I am so proud of myself. The early days of hard work have finally come to fruition and I am now enjoying the fruits of my labour. I am beginning to enjoy lying in bed when there is nothing to do. And I have installed 100% sun block curtains in the room, so it is very cosy and dark without all the glare of the afternoon sun. In the meantime, I shall go back to nap again.

As of last night, it was reported that Robin Williams, the funny comedian, apparently committed suicide and had been battling depression recently. For someone who makes others laugh, it is very sad that he could not laugh himself over life. Don’t take it too seriously. Life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest and to make the best of everything. You are a child of the universe. So, be kind to yourself and love yourself. Embrace Christianity for it has rock solid foundational scriptures in the Bible to guide you through life’s treacherous paths, full of obstacles and pressures. Be careful and strive to be happy.
Teacup Yorkie Dog August 12, 2014 bizadmin I am born in the year of the dog, hence I love all dogs, especially those toy types like Teacup Yorkie Dog, shitzu, pincher, Pomeranian, Poodle, chihuahua, etc. Dogs certainly make very good companions and they are loyal with no conditions attached unlike fellow human beings. They toy types of dogs are easy to maintain, small, able to carry around in your handbag and are rather quiet compared to their bigger counterparts, the guard dogs. I used to have a batik toy dog as a birthday gift from a classmate that I still remember till today. I value good relationships just like any dog and owner relationships. It cheers up the depressed soul and you have a warm body with fur to stroke and pet.
Laziness Prevails When There is Easy Money August 11, 2014 bizadmin My boss gives a lot to his family every month. He is a faithful husband and father. While we work as a team in the company, he will not forget to go back every year for Chinese New Year and have a grand celebration at home with his eldest daughter coming back from Melbourne. As a result, the youngest daughter is no longer working and apparently had resigned from Singapore General Hospital as a nurse. She has been celebrating life for the last 2-3 months already accompanying the mother to Australia every month to visit the sister. So much for laziness that prevails when there is easy money coming in without fail month after month while the poor dad slough it out every day and had to handle to many issues pertaining to work, when he should be retired and receiving allowances from his daughters. Being a rare gem, he refused to burden his daughters and preferred to be self sufficient.
