Change the Way You Think June 8, 2022 bizadmin Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Romans 12:2 NLT CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK When you hear preaching declaring that you need to repent, is your first impression of repentance something that involves mourning and sorrow? If we are to repent, it is essential that we know what the word “repent” means in the first place. It is the Greek word metanoeo, which means “to change one’s mind.” Repentance means changing your mind. This means that even if we do not use the word “repent” all the time on God’s people, every time they sit under anointed preaching of His Word, repentance is still occurring—their minds are being changed about the old beliefs that held them in bondage and receiving the truth that liberates them. Even as you are reading this, repentance is going on. You are renewing your mind with the good news of Jesus. You are becoming more and more conscious of His finished work and your righteousness in Christ. When you begin to receive the revelation that you are no longer under the old covenant of law, but are now under the new covenant of grace, the Bible calls that repentance! I want to share a praise report from Dave, who resides in Dallas. His story demonstrates how the truth liberates our minds from old beliefs that keep us in bondage and rob us of joy and victory in our lives: For a long time, my wife and I believed that though we were saved by grace, it was through our own efforts that we could become the Christians we were called to be. We sat under a ministry that taught you to walk out your Christian life by doing “good works,” so we served in the children’s ministry, led Bible study, performed the Holy Communion, tithed, and worked at vacation Bible schools during the summer months. We did all this because we were taught that it would “please” God. The sad thing was that the more we tried to “please” God, the less we enjoyed serving Him. Eventually, it became so much like work that we all but stopped doing it and became resigned to living a less-than-fulfilling Christian life. Then, over a year ago, we came across your television broadcast. We listened hungrily to what you shared and knew that this was the message and revelation that would change us as Christians. Every night of the next month, my wife would read aloud excerpts from one of your teaching resources, and we would be amazed at the teachings, examples, and revelations in the book (and that would transform our lives). We would discuss them until late at night, marveling at the revelation of God’s grace and love. The power of those revelations in the book began a process still continuing today. For example, all our thoughts about what would please God were radically changed. No longer were we living under a cloud of condemnation because we didn’t read the Bible long enough, didn’t repent and pray enough, didn’t serve enough, or didn’t give enough to enjoy the blessings of God. Faith and love for the Lord just arose in our hearts when we discovered that it wasn’t about us at all, but about the finished work of Jesus on the cross, that it was His righteousness and His righteousness alone that qualified my wife and me for all the blessings of God. Joy returned to our lives, and our relationship with each other changed. We no longer condemned each other but loved each other as we experienced God loving us. It changed our relationship with Him and continues to impact our family today as we sit under the ministry of grace. Moreover, the joy of serving has returned to us as it is now an outflow of what God has poured into us through His grace. We no longer see serving Him as a “work” but an honor and privilege. We are so grateful to Him for leading us as a couple to feed on His love for us through the finished work of Jesus Christ! Do you see that what you believe about God powerfully impacts your entire life? When you allow the truth of His love and grace to replace wrong beliefs about Him in your mind, you will find joy, fulfillment, and victory, replacing defeat, exhaustion, and bondage in all areas of your life. Keep hearing and feeding on the word of His grace, and like Dave, see Him transform you, your family, and your ministry from glory to glory!
Win the Battle for Your Mind May 13, 2022 bizadmin For as he thinks within himself, so he is. Proverbs 23:7 NASB WIN THE BATTLE FOR YOUR MIND I want you to be aware that as you look to the person of Jesus and cultivate the power of right believing, you’ll experience some battles in your mind that will challenge your beliefs. Be encouraged to know that you don’t have to be afraid of these battles. Jesus said, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Based on God’s Word, right believing is the key that unlocks the treasures of God in your life, giving you access to the fullness of His love, grace, favor, blessings, and forgiveness. Jesus has already paid the price on Calvary’s hill. The hindrance then between you and your victory is your wrong beliefs. The battle has to do with your thoughts. The enemy knows that if he can control your thought life, he can manipulate your emotions and feelings. For instance, if he can make you entertain thoughts of guilt, failure, and defeat, you will begin to feel lousy about yourself, physically weak, and even depressed. Our emotions are flags that indicate to us what our thoughts are. Thank God for emotions. They tell us if something is wrong with our thoughts. Many of us are not cognizant when our thinking slides down a slippery slope to fear, doubt, pessimism, and anxiety. However, God has designed us so that we can quickly recognize our thinking through our emotions. Try this: whenever you begin to sense negative emotions, such as fear, worry, guilt, and anger, stop and ask yourself, “What am I thinking?” Your emotions follow quickly at the heels of your thoughts. If your thoughts are negative, you will naturally produce negative emotions. Conversely, if your ideas are positive in Christ, you will have positive feelings. That is why there is a battle for your mind. The devil wants to keep your thoughts negative to keep you defeated. He is a master of mind games, and he doesn’t play fair. When he first tempted Adam and Eve in the garden, he made them doubt God’s motives by insinuating that God was deliberately withholding something good from them when God was protecting them. The devil’s strategy hasn’t changed—he is still using fears, lies, accusations, guilt, and condemnation to ensnare believers today and make them doubt God’s perfect love, forgiveness, and superabounding grace. My friend, are there areas you are fearful and anxious about today? Realize that those fears and anxieties indicate the presence of wrong beliefs in your life that God wants you to be freed. Replace those false beliefs with correct beliefs based on God’s Word, and you will eradicate those fears and anxieties. Through the power of right believing, you will win the battle for your mind.
Personalize God’s Favor in Your Life May 8, 2022 bizadmin Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved. John 13:23 PERSONALIZE GOD’S FAVOR IN YOUR LIFE I used to feel that among Jesus’ 12 supporters, John was the Lord’s #1 devotee and the person who was the nearest to Him in light of the fact that the Bible refers to John as “the follower whom Jesus adored.” I was convinced, hopefully not by mistake, that John had a unique blessing with Jesus, and generally considered what made him so exceptional that he stood separated from different pupils. Don’t you need to be known as the pupil whom Jesus loves? I do indeed! Then, at that point, at some point, when I was perusing God’s Word, the mystery of John’s approval occurred to me. The Lord woke up and showed me that the expression “the pupil whom Jesus cherished” is really tracked down just in John’s own book! Look at it for yourself. You won’t observe this expression being utilized in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. It is tracked down just in the Gospel of John. It is an expression that John used to depict himself! Presently, what’s happening with John? He was rehearsing and customizing the adoration that Jesus had for him. We are God’s top picks, however John knew the mystery of getting to Jesus’ outlandish blessing for himself. It is your right to see yourself as the follower whom Jesus loves, and to call yourself that! Whenever I began to instruct that the mystery of John’s approval lay in his personalization of God’s adoration, individuals in my congregation in a real sense ventured into another component of encountering God’s ridiculous blessing in their lives. I have perceived how some of them truly took this disclosure and went for it. Some of them altered the backdrops of their phones to say “The follower whom Jesus loves,” while others closed down their instant messages and messages with the expression. As they continued to advise themselves that they are the pupil whom Jesus loves, they started to fill in the cognizance of the Lord’s affection for them. Simultaneously, they started to fill in being favor-cognizant! I have heaps of applause writes about how our assemblage individuals have been so honored just by being aware of Jesus’ approval in their lives. Some of them have been advanced, some have gotten terrific additions to their checks, and many have won different awards at organization capacities and in different challenges, including all-cost paid get-aways. A sibling from my congregation pursued a specific Visa during an extraordinary advancement in which new candidates remained to win a scope of prizes. There were presumably a huge number of individuals who partook in this advancement, yet this youngster recently accepted that he was profoundly preferred, and therefore, he would win the top award. The day of the draw came and adequately genuine, this young fellow won the top award — a dazzling dark Lamborghini Gallardo! Whenever he kept in touch with the congregation to share his declaration, he encased an image of himself grinning from one ear to another, presenting with his fresh out of the box new Lamborghini. He said that he realize that he had won the vehicle by the outlandish blessing of God, and after he had auctions off the vehicle, he carried his offering to the congregation, offering all magnificence and distinction to Jesus. The world refers to this as “karma,” however for the adherent, karma can’t really exist. There is just the baseless blessing of Jesus!

Nearly fifty years ago, Christian television pioneers Paul and Jan Crouch joined a small group of dedicated friends and partners to step out by faith into a God-birthed vision to use television to take the life-changing message of Jesus Christ across America and around the world. The beginnings were modest, as TBN launched on May 28, 1973, with a tiny, part-time station airing a few hours of homemade Christian programming each day throughout the Los Angeles area. But God breathed life into this humble start, and soon people from all walks of life and circumstances were tuning in. Lives were changed, and the word spread. Before long, folks across America and beyond were asking for this miracle of Christian television. Within just a few years, TBN was expanding to cities across the U.S. and then to nations and locales worldwide, where millions experienced the message of hope and grace through Jesus for the first time through innovative, life-transforming Christian programming. Right from the start, Paul and Jan insisted that the growth of TBN should be founded on the prayer and partnership of everyday individuals who enjoyed TBN’s programming and were enthusiastic about its vision to reach individuals and families with the love of Jesus. Early on, TBN introduced an innovative partnership program, called the Praise-a-Thon, designed to bring viewers up close to all the excitement and action on the TBN set and give them a sense of the passion for souls and love for Jesus that motivated everything that was happening at TBN. God so loved us April 3, 2022 bizadmin “Because he has set his love upon Me, I will deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known My name.” Psalm 91:14 GOD SO LOVED US What qualifies you for God’s protection? I ask this question because I have heard many ministers whose teachings make it seem like you have to qualify for God’s blessings. They make it sound like God blesses you only if you can love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This also applies in the area of your protection. When they read, “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him,” they conclude that God’s protection is dependent on us fulfilling the condition of loving the Lord perfectly. Unfortunately, such teaching robs you of the faith to believe in God for divine protection over yourself and your loved ones. Anything dependent on our efforts is on a shaky foundation because no matter how “good” a Christian we think we are, our love for the Lord will fail. That is precisely why God sent His Son. He knew that man would never be able to fulfill all His commandments. In sending His Son, He said to us, “I know you can’t, so let Me love you with all My heart, all My mind, and all My strength.” Therein lies the beautiful love story we call the gospel of Jesus Christ. God SO loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son to save and ransom us. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself fulfilled all the requirements of the law. Today, even when our love for Him wavers, He still delivers us from evil even when we fail! One Scripture that beautifully encapsulates the crux of the new covenant of grace is 1 John 4:10: “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation [the atoning sacrifice] for our sins.” I pray that your heart will be anchored on this revelation. The emphasis of the new covenant is God’s love for you, not your love for God. Am I saying that your love for God is unimportant? Of course not. I am saying is that our love for Him will constantly waver, but His love never fails. The Bible declares that “the steadfast love of the LORD never ceases” (Lam. 3:22 ESV). I am so grateful that we are under the new covenant of God’s amazing grace, where we can depend on His unconditional, unchanging, and irrevocable love for us!
Hold On to God’s Promises March 27, 2022 bizadmin “Behold, all those incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them—those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing. For I, the LORD your God will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Isaiah 41:11–13 HOLD ON TO GOD’S PROMISES Let me share with you a testimony I believe will significantly encourage you. One of my leaders was diagnosed with Meniere’s disease when he suddenly suffered bouts of intense vertigo that completely incapacitated him for hours. Whenever a vertigo attack occurred, waves of nausea would overtake him, and he would find himself throwing up uncontrollably. He would also occasionally experience tinnitus symptoms, where every sound around him became magnified or distorted, and he could not hear what people were saying to him. It was terrifying for him because the attacks were sudden and unpredictable, could happen while driving, and left him retching and vomiting until he was exhausted. It felt like he was trapped in the churning waters of a violent storm. His doctors told him that medication could help manage the symptoms, but there was no cure for his condition, and the signs were, in fact, likely to get worse. Then one day, the Lord led him to the above passage from Isaiah 41. He said, “When God gave me that word, I kept meditating on it and kept it in my spirit. The words ‘shall be as a nonexistent thing’ kept jumping out at me, and I knew I had it. I was healed.” He did not see the full manifestation of his healing immediately, but he had faith he was already healed because of the word he received. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, “the evidence of things not seen” (Heb. 11:1). So even before he saw the reality, he knew he was healed. He continued to partake of the Holy Communion regularly, but he no longer did so out of any sense of fear the symptoms would become increasingly debilitating. Instead, he participated knowing he was already healed, and after some time, he “stopped experiencing the symptoms altogether.” He has been entirely symptom-free for over a year as I write this. All glory to our lovely Savior! Isaiah 41:11–13 is such a powerful passage to meditate on if you are faced with the enemies of sickness and disease today. Doesn’t it remind you of what the Lord did for the children of Israel when He split open the Red Sea for them even though it appeared like all was lost? The Lord is no respecter of persons. Put your trust in Him. He can make a way when there seems to be no way. If He did it for the children of Israel and the brother in my church, He could do it for you.
You Have God’s Presence and Favor Regardless of Your Circumstances March 19, 2022 bizadmin Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; behold, you are there if I make my bed in hell. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. Psalm 139:7–10 YOU HAVE GOD’S PRESENCE AND FAVOR REGARDLESS OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES Hebrews 13:5 says that God’s presence is a guaranteed constant in your life. But I want you to know that you cannot evaluate God’s presence and His unmerited favor in your life based on your circumstances. To help you understand what this means, let’s look at the life of Joseph. Joseph refused the advances made by Potiphar’s wife, and as the common saying goes, “Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned”! She maliciously accused Joseph of attempting to rape her, brandishing as “evidence” the garments Joseph had left in her hands when he fled from her. When Potiphar heard his wife telling her version of the story, his anger was aroused, and he seized Joseph, stripped him from the place of authority he had given him, and threw him into prison. Just put yourself in Joseph’s shoes. What is happening here? It sounds all too familiar, doesn’t it? With the painful memory of his brothers casting him into the pit still fresh in his mind, here he is once again, thrown into a dungeon even though he was innocent. Any average person would be bitter and angry with God! Most people would ask, “Where is God? Why had God brought him this far, only to abandon and forsake him? How could this happen? Where is the justice against this false accusation?” But Joseph was no “average Joe”! He knew that the Lord would never leave him nor forsake him. Joseph considered not his circumstances but kept his focus on the presence of the Lord. Regardless of whether he was a common slave, an overseer in Potiphar’s house, or now a prisoner facing the prospect of life imprisonment for a crime he did not even commit, Joseph did not evaluate God’s unmerited favor in his life based on his circumstances. Instead of getting bitter, he kept his hope in the Lord. Instead of throwing in the towel and giving up on God and life, he kept his confidence, knowing that all his success was wrapped up in the presence of the Lord. And boy, did the Lord deliver him! I want you to read this for yourself to see what the Lord did for Joseph: But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. The keeper of the prison did not look into anything under Joseph’s authority because the LORD was with him, and whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper. —Genesis 39:21–23 What does this tell you? If you bow to your circumstances and continue to be conscious of the Lord’s presence, you will rise to prominence wherever you are placed, whatever your environment. You will have favor with your bosses, and they will promote you to man-in-charge. And whatever you do will prosper!
How to Increase in God’s Unmerited Favor March 10, 2022 bizadmin Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1–2 HOW TO INCREASE IN GOD’S UNMERITED FAVOR God’s word tells us that “Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52). This is an excellent verse to pray and speak over your children—that they first increase in favor with God and then in favor with man. Your “vertical relationship” with God should always be given priority over your “horizontal relationship” with the people around you. Like Jesus, you can increase in wisdom and in God’s unmerited favor. How? You have probably noticed that some believers seem to experience a lot more unmerited favor than others. I believe that this is because these believers understand the key to accessing God’s favor. Romans 5:2 clearly spells out that “we have access by faith into this grace [unmerited favor] in which we stand.” To gain access to your computer or your bank account, you need a password. To gain access to and increase in God’s unmerited favor, the “password” or key that we need to have is faith, faith to believe that YOU, _______________ (insert your name), are highly favored! One of the things that I have taught my church members to do is to declare over themselves that they are greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved. “How do we know that we are greatly blessed, Pastor Prince?” Read Hebrews 6:13–14 for yourself. God wanted us to be so anchored in the sure and steadfast knowledge that He will bless us, the seed of Abraham, that He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” “How can we say that we are highly favored?” Ephesians 1:6 tells us that by God’s grace (unmerited favor), God “made us accepted in the Beloved.” In the original Greek text, the word “accepted” is the word charitoo, which means “highly favored.” “And are we deeply loved by God?” God didn’t just love us. John 3:16 says that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.” He demonstrated how He SO loved us when He sent Jesus to die on the cross for us. I pray that the verses I have shown you here will help you believe that through Jesus, you are indeed incredibly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved. If these truths are still not established in your heart, start speaking them. Look at yourself in the mirror every morning and declare boldly, “Because of Jesus’ perfect work on the cross, I am righteous by His blood, and I am greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved! I expect good things to come my way. I expect success, and I have a confident expectation of good!” Once you receive Christ, you are standing on favor ground. You are no longer on condemnation ground. God looks on you as His favorite child! “But Pastor Prince, how can God have so many favorites?” Hey, He is God. Don’t try to limit an infinite God with your finite mind. The Bible tells us that God counts the very hairs on each of our heads (Matt. 10:30). I love my daughter very much, but I have never counted the number of strands of hair on her head. His love for each of us is intimate and deeply personal. In His eyes, we are all His favorites!
