Get ready to laugh and sing with the new animated series “A Show About Anthem Lights,” premiering exclusively on Pure Flix on January 12, 2022. AFFIRM Films, the studio behind the animated film “The Star,” has helped bring the vision of creator and director Rob Hawkins to life. 

The show is exactly what the title implies – an animated series depicting the Christian band, Anthem Lights, as they go about everyday activities navigating the ups and downs of life in a boyband … all while singing about it!

“This show, in many ways, is a love letter to our fans, and we think they are going to appreciate it as much as we appreciate them,” said band member Caleb Grimm. “We think it’s authentically funny, and the music and stories will appeal to a wide range of people who may not be familiar with our music … yet.”

The series will be released in volumes and feature animated versions of Spencer Kane, Joseph Stamper, Caleb Grimm, and Chad Graham. The first volume includes episodes 1 to 4 and releases on January 12. Volumes 2 to 5 will debut every other Wednesday.

Anthem Lights is an American Christian group formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2007. The band started as a solo project for the vocalist Chad Graham. He and Alan Powell were writing music for the project when they thought a group would better perform the songs. They came together with vocalists Kyle Kupecky and Caleb Grimm and formed the band Yellow Cavalier releasing one self-titled EP in 2009 before changing the name to Anthem Lights. The group signed with the label Reunion Records and in 2011 released the self-titled EP Anthem Lights and the full studio album with the same name. The first track from the EP “Can’t Shut Up” reached number 42 on Billboard’s Christian Songs chart. Together the band released 7 studio albums, Anthem Lights, You Have My Heart, Escape, Hymns, Painted Skies, Hymns Vol. II, and Worship. They also released 3 EPs, 5 compilation albums, and 9 singles.
