[Videos] Penang Times Square, Queens Residences @ Queens Waterfront

The video above was shot at Birch Regency Condominium, phase 2 of Penang Times Square. It used to be a happening place; until MBI was found to be ‘not too honest’ in its business deals, and therefore, had to close its premises here. I still miss the crowds from China with loud heavy Chinese accents, chattering excitedly, adorned with colorful clothes and paired with lovely scarfs.

Penang Times Square in its heydays, was the talk of the town, attracting busloads of tourists, especially from China and locals. There were many tuck shops set up to sell knick-knacks and ornaments that you can hardly find elsewhere. The tourists come here to redeem their points for gifts, utensils, luggage, and more. Some use the points to redeem for delicious local food at the various restaurants with high-class dΓ©cor and pricey interior design. Pity, that now it is all over!

If only a big businessman that has acute business acumen will take over the entire shopping space in this insidious pandemic, then perhaps, the Penang economy may be revived again prior to the Covid-19.

This is a short video taken at Queens Residences @ Queens Waterfront, Penang. See the colorful wall of paintings by GIM Ideal developer. This is Tower A, which is a bit lower in height than Tower B, which is still under construction, albeit near completion.

Enjoy the floral greeting of ‘Good Morning’ blessings taken from my Instagram account. I have a habit of uploading encouraging Christian banners with flowers, decorations, and such, all combined into a pretty picture for sharing. That’s it for today’s post. Have a good weekend, and stay safe, stay happy. 😍😎😁
