Christmas 2016 may be over, but I am still in a holiday mood. Did some light typing of quotations this morning and that was it. Then went down to pay the condo maintenance fees with quit rent in advance for 3 months next year. Thereafter, went to Hong Leong bank below to change to a new debit contactless card but was told that mine is a new card that was changed some time back. So, there is no necessity to change to a new debit card. My partner had his 2 cars repaired and they are now in the car service centres. I booked a Grab taxi for him to come back to Penang Times Square for RM 5 per trip and it was deducted from my credit card, payment via internet.

I was reading the old copies of the Herald magazines produced by Catholic churches and it was stated that the Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt is a Catholic. It is enlightening to note that he is a Christian and in this faith, it encourages believers to give their best with passion in whatever endeavors they are in – a job, sports, family, etc. Usain is also being sponsored by Celcom, our local telco here in Malaysia. Reading Christian material is certainly uplifting and inspiring. It helps to beat mental stress at work, in relationships with in-laws, etc. Forgiveness is key to a healthy life.

My Firefly flight was delayed by 40 minutes last night, departing at 8:50pm instead of 8:10pm. It was raining heavily and the traffic was terrible. Took us 45 minutes to arrive at the airport, but luckily we set off 2 hours earlier. I have missed 3 flights before, so now I cannot take any chances and be prepared for any unforeseen like the bad weather or accidents along the road that slows down the traffic. In the morning, we went to Nilai, Seremban which took us 40 minutes along the highway to visit a site. Tomorrow, will treat my family to a steamboat buffet at the newly opened restaurant in Times Square.

I was immediately down with flu after eating a yellow tim sum bun filled with egg yolk and oil! Yucks! And the tennis coach liked it so much, he recommended it to my spouse and specially waited for this item. After having 2 of such buns, I began vomiting and threw out all the buns and their contents. This could be due to food poisoning, but according to the doctor, it was due to infection. So, he gave me anti-biotics, cough tablets, phlegm tablets and cough syrup for $66. I also did not enjoy the cruise; slept throughout the entire cruise except for dinner and breakfast on Superstar Libra for the second time round. Did not watch any shows either.

Last Sunday, I went for Fit for Life to collect a free goodie bag for the first 500 visitors at SPICE, formerly known as PISA in Penang. Inside the bag was a packet of wet towels and hand sanitation gel in a small bottle that you can keep inside your handbag. I also bought myself an RM 10 bag of soya powder packet, The Star newspapers plus other goodies like cream crackers, etc. Also went for a free bone density test that states that I have osteopenia, the beginning of osteoporosis, but I think the test is inaccurate and not valid as I take calcium supplements and drink Nestle Omega 3 milk almost every day.
