Looks like Zidane is busy ‘reading’ a book entitled ‘Crush It’ by Gary the author. Zidane has its own Instagram as can be seen above. I just love the adorable pictures of Zidane posted by the owner who happens to sell Pomeranian-themed apparel. Poms have long thick fur which makes them look much bigger than they actually are. Also, you can find pictures of Leia in the earlier posts when she was a puppy, just 2 months old! Yesterday was my birthday, and it was just a small family affair with a treat at a popular Chinese restaurant. Dad is now in a nursing home and craves to go home. But I guess after discussing with my sisters, it is best he stays there for the moment until he can become independent again, just like before his fall at home in the toilet. Now he is waiting for a heart bypass in September at a hospital in KL. Dad is an octogenarian already having lived up to a ripe age of 81 during his golden years and still counting. We pray for his longevity and that he will be happy and be at peace with himself. Afterall, granny was in a home for 25 years or so and also craved to come back, but could not due to family issues at home. And dad visited her monthly and brought her out. Whereas, in dad’s case, he goes to church weekly as driven by the youngest sister where they both attend a Catholic church, mingle with friends and then dinner together.

You are now mom to your tiny bundle of joy all round the clock or 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is a never-ending process and even if your bundle of joy grows up to become an adult, you are still needed in certain ways for advise, companionship and sometimes financial help should he or she be jobless. But parenting is still worth it and it is God’s blessings to give your children and train them in the way they should go, the biblical way. So that the baby who is not an adult will not stray from the right path of living and become gainfully employed, able to socialize and merge with society at large. Hence, it is the mother’s job to train up the child or toddler or infant to love reading and not waste time by gambling or watching pornography in their teenage years. All parents hope that they can train their child to become successful later on and become proud parents. As a ‘mom’ to a year old plus Pomeranian, it is not easy bringing her up, cleaning up the litter and feeding her. But Leia gives me lots of affection and joy seeing her grow from a puny puppy with very little fur to an almost full grown dog with long thick fur that is so tempting to stroke. When she poos outside her litter box, she gets disciplined. Sometimes she craves for attention by making puppy sounds to alert the owner. My spouse always says grace for little Leia before she eats her food of dog kibbles, mixed with lamb or beef. By the way, she’s allergic to chicken.

My pet Pomeranian, Leia, loves to escape from its play pen and let you know how smart she is. Well, I don’t condone to this and put her in her cage for a while before letting her our again. As I am pretty busy, I cannot massage her at least 10 minutes daily, which she loves very much. I need to work too and earn some moolah for retirement. Anyway, congrats to second sis and hubby who both passed their PhD degrees already in the UK.

A Persian Cat and a Pomeranian August 14, 2017 bizadmin I was in 1 Utama Shopping Centre recently when I stumbled upon a Pet Store featuring a fluffy orange Persian cat seated on a basket as eye candy to attract pet lovers such as myself, even though I may not really like cats compared to dogs. She was much bigger than my Pom pupppy, Leia which is now around 3+ months old. The pet store on the basement floor sells various pet stuffs for cats and dogs including kibbles and toys. Shortly later, she was treated food in her glass display for ‘working’ for the day. Above is a black and brown Pomeranian for sale at the pet store. Isn’t she or he cute? The black beady eyes seems so large. It reminds me of my Leia which is in need of a companion – human or otherwise. Anyway, Leia was placed in a ‘pet hotel’ during our business trip to Kuala Lumpur. We picked her up the next day after arriving in Penang to be groomed and bathed. She was so excited to see us, though at first, she could not recognise us until we called out her name.

Just a 2.5-month old puppy at that point in time, and already a prize winner. My sister’s fren said, “Cut her hair, looks like teddy bear!” I was shocked. Poms are supposed to have thick furry body and they think they are bigger than they actually are. Unlike Poodles where you cut the hair regularly, Pomeranians don’t need such grooming and the longer the fur, the better they look when they are adult size. There is nothing more soothing than the licking of your feet by your pet or sleeping by your slippers and following you everywhere. When it was born and weaned for a few months, and thereafter, it was separated from its mom and dad. Hence it is like an orphan to be taken care of by human ‘parents’. Sometimes, I get a little annoyed that Leia has become too playful and bite my calve which is rather painful while I work by the computer. So, it gets a little discipline and left alone in the room. She craves for human company and loves to be massaged. She understands the commands like ‘Sit’, ‘Paw’, ‘In’ and ‘Go Away’. To some, she can do no wrong – that’s the love one has for his/her pooch.
